Kesley Kindall filled the halls of Cafe Du Nord with the sweet sounds of her brand new multi-genre album, The Waiting Room. A love letter to turning 30, Kindall spent the last year writing it, as well as signing with El Portal Records (their first client). EPRβs founder Stephen Jimenez congratulated her in person, telling the crowd that he was so proud to call her not just a signed artist, but a friend. Coincidentally, Jimenez mentioned that he signed Kindall to his label on his birthday, October 24th, a year ago today. With songs like βHoney Iβm Homeβ (which according to Kindall is ββ¦the only real love song on the albumβ¦a love song to San Franciscoβ¦β) and βEnergyβ (ββ¦in your twenties you have energy, in your thirties you have moneyβ¦Iβll take the moneyβ¦β), Kindall continues to levitate the room like she has with her two previous EPs The Afterparty and The Goodbye Party. Joined by her family from Hershey, PA, Kindall has a heart bigger than any one city can contain. Destined for the stars, Kindall demonstrates what it means to balance her vulnerability with that divine feminine heatβ¦obviously, doing it all in pink chiffon.
Sweet and ferocious, San Francisco bedroom-pop artist Kailnoa serenaded the crowd, releasing her brand new song 'βrobotβ. Her dulcet tones were the perfect opener for Kelsey Kindall.
